CSTP All Preparers — PTIN Registered · IRS Circular 230 Compliant · FTC Safeguards Rule Compliant

Critical Notice — No Government Affiliation

Complete Solutions Tax Pros (CSTP) is a private, independently owned tax preparation company.

  • We are NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or representatives of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), U.S. Department of the Treasury, or any federal, state, or local government agency.
  • We do NOT have any special relationship, inside access, or preferential treatment with the IRS or any tax authority.
  • No refund amount, tax outcome, or credit eligibility is guaranteed by CSTP or any of its employees.
  • The IRS and applicable state tax authorities are the sole determiners of your tax liability, refund amount, and return acceptance.
  • Results vary based on individual tax circumstances, documentation, and IRS processing.

Scope of Services — What We Do and Do Not Do

WE DO:

  • Prepare federal and state income tax returns based solely on information and documentation you provide
  • Electronically file completed, signed returns with the IRS and state tax authorities
  • Educate clients on their return — explaining income, deductions, and credits applied
  • Respond to IRS correspondence and notices on your behalf when retained to do so
  • Facilitate introductions to third-party bank partners for refund advance products
  • Assist with amended returns (Form 1040-X) when corrections are needed

WE DO NOT:

  • Provide legal advice, investment advice, or financial planning services
  • Guarantee specific refund amounts or tax outcomes
  • Make decisions on behalf of the IRS or any tax authority
  • Offer refund advances directly — all advances are products of third-party lenders
  • Engage in abusive tax schemes, frivolous positions, or any conduct prohibited by IRS Circular 230
  • File returns that we know or reasonably should know contain false or inaccurate information

IRS Circular 230 Compliance & Preparer Standards

All tax preparers employed by or contracted with Complete Solutions Tax Pros:

  • Hold a valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) issued by the IRS as required under 26 U.S.C. § 6109(a)(4)
  • Operate in compliance with IRS Circular 230 (31 CFR Part 10), including due diligence, competency, and conduct standards
  • Complete Form 8867 (Due Diligence Checklist) for all returns claiming EITC, CTC/ACTC, AOTC, or HOH filing status
  • Do not take a position on a return unless there is at least a reasonable basis for that position (Circular 230 § 10.34)
  • Maintain records of each return prepared as required by law
  • Are prohibited from engaging in any conduct that the IRS has identified as a potential tax avoidance transaction
  • Submit to continuing education requirements and maintain awareness of current tax law

Reference: IRS Circular 230, Rev. Proc. 2010-1, IRS Publication 470, and applicable Treasury Regulations.

No Outcome Guarantees — Full Disclosure

CSTP cannot and does not guarantee any of the following:

  • Any specific refund amount or reduction in tax liability
  • Eligibility for or approval of any tax credit or deduction (EITC, ACTC, CTC, AOTC, etc.)
  • IRS or state acceptance, processing, or approval of your return
  • Specific refund disbursement dates — these are determined by IRS processing queues
  • Approval for refund advance products — these are subject to third-party lender approval
  • Avoidance of IRS correspondence inquiries, penalties, or interest charges
  • That your return will not be selected for IRS review or examination

Your tax outcome is a function of your unique financial situation, applicable tax law as of the filing date, and IRS processing. We are advocates for accuracy — not manufacturers of outcomes.

Client Responsibility & Accuracy of Information

Under federal law (26 U.S.C. § 7206), you are personally responsible for the accuracy of your return. By using our services, you confirm that:

  • All information and documents you provide to us are accurate, complete, and truthful to the best of your knowledge
  • You have reviewed your completed return before signing — your signature constitutes your certification of accuracy under penalties of perjury
  • You understand the general content of your return and the credits or deductions claimed
  • You will retain copies of your return and all supporting documents for a minimum of 7 years (or longer if recommended by your preparer)
  • You will notify us immediately if you discover any error or omission in information you provided
  • Providing false information to a tax preparer to inflate your refund may constitute federal tax fraud

Refund Advance Products — Third-Party Disclosure

1.Refund advance products marketed on our site (including $1,000 and up to $7,500 advances) are financial loans offered exclusively by Refund Advantage Bank — an independent, federally regulated third-party lender. CSTP is NOT the lender.

2.CSTP receives no compensation or fee from the lender based on your advance approval or loan amount.

3.Approval, interest rate, Annual Percentage Rate (APR), loan terms, and all associated fees are determined solely by the lender based on their underwriting criteria.

4.The advance is a loan. It is repaid from your IRS refund once disbursed to the lender. If your refund is delayed, reduced, or offset by the IRS, you remain responsible to the lender for full repayment.

5.Applying for a refund advance does not affect your tax return preparation or filing timeline.

6.Advances are available from approximately January 2 through March 15 each year, subject to lender availability.

Data Security & Privacy — IRS Publication 4557 Compliance

CSTP implements data security practices consistent with IRS Publication 4557 (Safeguarding Taxpayer Data) and applicable privacy law, including:

  • AES-256 encryption for all taxpayer data in transit and at rest
  • Access controls limiting data visibility to assigned preparers and authorized administrators only
  • Prohibition on selling, sharing, or disclosing taxpayer information to any third party except as required for filing (e.g., e-filing with the IRS, bank products)
  • Secure document storage and disposal protocols
  • Staff training on data security procedures annually
  • Written Information Security Plan (WISP) maintained as required by the FTC Safeguards Rule
